Cordless Circular Saws
Cordless circular saws provide an extra measure of safety by eliminating cord tripping hazards and the risk of cutting the power cord, while providing the additional benefits of field portability and job site flexibility. Circular saws are used for cutting many materials such as wood, masonry, plastic, metal, plywood, sheetrock, framing materials and even smaller pieces of trim. They are used to make rip-cuts, cross-cuts, plunge cuts, or a combination of cuts and beveling. General purpose saws typically have low-voltage batteries under 18V, and are lighter and more compact than saws with higher-voltage batteries. Heavy-duty saws for more demanding applications typically have batteries rated at 18V and higher. Related equipment includes circular saw blades, cordless tool accessories, sawhorses and work stands, measuring and layout tools, safety glasses, clamps and vises and cordless reciprocating saws.
