LDPE is low density polyethylene that is commonly used for kitchen containers, six pack rings, beverage cartons, plastic wraps and more. These low density polyethylene sheets have an excellent resistance to concentrated and dilute acids, bases and alcohols. LDPE film is a great soft and pliable barrier that can be heat resistant and difficult to puncture. If an LDPE sheet does not seem to fit your criteria, we carry UHMW polyethylene sheets which is a high performance polyethylene with a high molecular weight. The PTFE sheets are a low friction fluoropolymer used in a variety of harsh chemical applications. We also have nylon sheets that are made with an excellent resistance to wear and tear, abrasions, and alkalis.
