Tool Box and Job Box Casters, 6" Phenolic Wheel Casters, 4800# Cap.

This Toolbox Caster kit contains two swivel with brake casters with (6 in. x 2 in.) phenolic wheels & two rigid casters with two (6 in. x 2 in.) phenolic wheels. A combination of swivel & rigid casters provide you the ability to steer your toolbox in a desired direction. This kit also includes 16 one-inch long bolts (5/16), 16 nuts (5/16) & 16 washers to mount the casters to your toolbox or gangbox. Each heavy duty caster in this kit can hold up to 1200 lbs per caster. All four casters together give you a total capacity of 4800 lbs for all your tools when weight is distributed evenly. Make sure to be mindful of clearance though. These casters give you an overall height of 7-1/2 inches from the ground. Phenolic wheels are a great alternative to steel wheels. Phenolic wheels give you similar capacities to steel wheels, however, they provide better floor protection, slightly quieter rolling, do not rust & are more economically priced. Phenolic wheels are made using phenolic resin mixed with macerated canvas which yields a high capacity & high impact wheel. They have hard treads & will not flat spot over time which is why they are often used on equipment with heavy loads. Phenolic wheels are resistant to oil, grease, chemicals & solvents. They are also non-metallic & non-sparking. These casters should mount to Milwaukee, Ridgid, Jobox, Husky, Kobalt, Westward, Dewalt, Knaack, Entrix & more toolboxes/job site boxes.
