About Vacuum Pumps
Vacuum pumps, simply put, move air, gas, water or other matter into, through and/or out of an enclosed container. They're used in vehicle air conditioners, home air conditioner units, and refrigerators and freezers for HVAC cooling support. When used in AC systems, vacuum pumps remove water, air and gas, keeping them from becoming charged with refrigerant, while also freezing water vapor to control pressure. If you're looking for other AC and refrigeration supplies check out our selection of AC and refrigeration accessories like thermostatic expansion valves, manifold gauge set accessories and refrigeration access valves.
