About Actuator Accessories
An actuator is part of a controlling mechanism on a machine that produces mover functions such as turning a valve or flicking a switch. In order to function, an actuator must have a control signal through a current, electric voltage or by pressure. An electric actuator turns electrical energy to mechanical torque and a linear actuator creates motion in a straight line rather than rotational. Electro mechanical actuators have electric motors instead of manual knobs and mechanical actuators convert linear motion from a rotary motion. Our actuator accessories such ball screw flanges end blocks and acme flanges offer excellent attachment purposes to these working machines.
