About Bypass Soft Starts
A soft start motor is used to limit the current in motor start devices, a soft starter works as a car brake to limit a rapid increase of power. A soft start circuit can work to reduce stress on mechanical devices, as well as controlling the voltage supply. Our combo soft starters feature a circuit breaker case and control transformer, and some of our soft starters include bypass contactors. Integrated bypass soft starts are also devices used to control motor acceleration.
