About Centrifugal Pedestal Pumps
If you need to move liquid quickly without sucking it up through a tube or pipe, a centrifugal pedestal pump can do the trick. These centrifugal pedestal pump heads affix directly to a pump motor, engine, or pulley drive to move liquid simply and effectively. Their internal impellers have rotary vanes that pull fluid through the pump to create high-velocity movement. The centrifugal pump head casing’s design channels the fluid, changing its velocity to pressure, and forcing it to discharge at a high rate of flow. Items vary by outlet/inlet size, maximum pressure, impeller composition, gpm, and other considerations. For more on pumps, see our hot water circulator pumps, booster pumps, straight centrifugal pumps, and self-priming pumps.
