Chain slings are a type of material handling equipment used to lift and move heavy loads. They are made up of a series of interconnected metal chains that are attached to a lifting hook or other rigging hardware.

There are several different types of chain slings, each designed for specific applications. Some of the most commonly used types of slings include single-leg slings, double-leg slings, and multi-leg slings.

The size and type of chain sling you need will depend on the weight of the load you need to lift as well as the specific lifting application. It is important to consult a qualified professional to ensure you select the right chain sling for your needs.

Chain slings require regular maintenance and inspection to ensure they are safe to use. This includes visual inspections for any signs of damage or wear, as well as periodic load testing to ensure the sling is still capable of handling the rated load.
