About Conduit Entry Kits
At the points where cables enter buildings, rooms or systems, protection is sometimes needed at the point of entry. The purposes of such kits may be to protect cables from mechanical damage or certain weather conditions, to protect against incidental contact with live electrical components, or to provide general shielding between the connected areas of passage. These conduit entry kits consist of a metal box, removable access plate, and screws. Some boxes include knockouts for cabling, components for the AC variable frequency drive, and so on.
