About Cooling Racks
Cooling racks are data cabinet accessories onto which server rack shelves are mounted that, in turn, hold servers, computers and other electronic equipment. The racks are perforated to allow air flow between the electric components, thereby keeping them cool, preventing equipment failure and extending the life of the equipment. Such racks frequently also hold rack fan panels to help circulate air within the cabinet. Other equipment common to data cabinets includes modular wiring systems and voice and data patch cords.
