Eaton’s Crouse-Hinds series XDT hazardous location dry-type transformers provide safe and efficient electric power distribution in the most extreme harsh and hazardous locations. Designed to operate in Class I, Division 2 locations where volatile flammable liquids or gases are handled, processed or used, and where ignitable concentrations of gases or vapors are normally prevented by positive mechanical ventilation, such as refineries, chemical and petrochemical plants, mining, corrosive process facilities and indoor/outdoor industrial applications.
