About DC Stepper Motor Controllers
DC motors, typically used in robotics, are controlled by intermediary devices between the robot microcontroller and batteries, and the motor. One such electromagnetic device is the DC stepper motor controller. Its purpose is to provide electrical pulses to the DC stepper motor drivers that drive the stepper motors that, in turn, power the mechanized steps of mechanized components such as starting, stopping, reversing direction, and so on. In addition to robotics, they are also used in used in indexing, machinery, packaging and rapid positioning applications.
