Axial downblast ventilators exhaust clean air from commercial and industrial buildings having low-to-moderate static pressures. Air is discharged through their rain-guard bell-shaped cap, downward toward the unit’s base. These exhaust vents are typically mounted over ventilation openings on rooftops or exterior walls. Their low maintenance direct drive motors are efficient, compact, light, and easier to clean than their belt drive axial downblast ventilator counterparts, but may not operate as quietly. Whichever roof ventilator you choose, be sure to see our roof ventilator accessories.
