DOWSIL 737 Neutral Cure Sealant is a one-part, 100% silicone rubber adhesive/sealant that cures at room temperature on exposure to atmospheric moisture. It uses an oxime neutral cure system and provides primerless adhesion to many materials, and does not react with or corrode most metals or plastics (see limitations). Supplied in a 10.1 oz cartridge, it applies as a non-slumping paste that will not slump, sag, or run off surfaces, and tools before a skin forms.The sealant adheres without priming to a range of substrates, including plastics, metals, painted surfaces, glass, and rubbers, and cures to a flexible silicone rubber. Dow reports adhesion to materials including ABS, anodized aluminum, brass, carbon steel, copper, galvanized steel, glass, neoprene, phenolic G-10, silicone rubber, stainless steel, and wrought iron. Once cured, it stays flexible from -85°F to 350°F (-65°C to 177°C) and is weather-resistant to sunlight (UV), rain, snow, and temperature extremes.Applied to a clean, dry surface, DOWSIL 737 skins over in 3 to 6 minutes and is tack-free in about 14 minutes, reaching a handling condition within 24 hours at room temperature and 50% relative humidity.
