Felt pads are non-woven pads made from compressed fibers. These soft, adhesive-backed pads prevent damage to surfaces by reducing noise, vibration, and friction. They are commonly used to protect furniture legs, electronic devices, picture frames, and other items.

Felt pads are typically made from natural or synthetic fibers such as wool, polyester, nylon, or acrylic. Natural wool felt pads offer excellent sound absorption and durability, while synthetic felt pads are more resistant to moisture and staining.

To determine the correct size, measure the surface area that needs protection. Choose a pad that is slightly larger than the surface to ensure proper coverage. For thickness, consider the weight of the item and the amount of protection required. Heavier items or surfaces requiring more protection may need thicker pads.

Ensure the surface is clean and dry before applying the felt pads. Remove the adhesive backing and position the pad firmly on the desired location. Press down evenly to create a secure bond. If necessary, allow the adhesive to cure for a few hours before using the item.
