Flange nuts are commonly used for a variety of fastening applications on machinery and equipment. One end of a flange nut has a wide flange so that the pressure can be evenly distributed. The distribution as well as the serrated design on its side allows the flange lock nut to stay securely onto fasteners. A serrated flange nut provides a locking power and prevents loosening from occurring. Featuring a hexagonal shape, our hex nuts are constructed from steel and have black oxide and zinc coatings. In addition to our hex flange nut supply, we also have a variety of other hardware pieces. Locknuts resist loosening caused by torque vibrations, acorn cap nuts have domed caps for screw head protection, and rivet nuts are internally threaded.
