Fuel Cylinders
About Fuel Cylinders
Fuel cylinders are used to supply fuels used in tungsten arc welding, oxy-fuel welding and cutting, GMAW, TIG welding, MIG welding and fuel cutting, brazing, and some soldering and thermal treatment and prep. Contents for pressurized fuel cylinders for welding depend on the application, and might contain pressurized oxygen, acetylene, propane or MAPP gas, to name a few. Fuel cylinders are used in welding applications to store the shield gas (typically carbon dioxide, oxygen, nitrogen, or hydrogen) that prevents contamination of the weld puddle. Zoro stocks cylinders which may vary by size, inclusions, operating pressure, pipe capacity and other considerations. For fuel cylinder hoses, attachments and dial meters, see our welding accessories. For more on welding, see our TIG torches.
