Handcrafted in the Gerstner Dayton, Ohio factory, this five-drawer base adds both capacity and presence. Featuring five drawers and a felt-lined top surface, the B2705 provides organized storage for tools, instruments, accessories, and curated collections. The top surface is bordered with protective rails to help stabilize a chest placed above, creating a secure and balanced stacked arrangement. Constructed from American Black Walnut and finished without stain, this base showcases the wood’s natural depth, contrast, and flowing grain character. Gerstner’s Natural Walnut highlights authentic tonal variation rather than masking it for uniformity. Over time, walnut will gradually lighten, developing a distinguished patina unique to its environment and use. The B2705 incorporates Gerstner’s trademarked Stop-Trac adjustable drawer system, reducing accidental drawer removal while still allowing full removal when desired.
