About Gladhands & Accessories

Glad hand fittings (AKA gladhand) are used in vehicle air braking systems to attach and connect general service and emergency brake lines from vehicle to trailer. The connectors resemble hands shaking when properly locked, and the locking grip tightens even more so when the line becomes pressurized.
