A hand truck is a vertical device with two wheels and a rectangular base that is used for moving heavy objects. A dolly is a flat, four-wheeled platform that is used for moving large or oddly-shaped objects.

Hand trucks come in a variety of styles, including two-wheel, four-wheel, and convertible models. Dollies come in a variety of sizes and shapes, including flatbed, platform, and specialty dollies.

Consider the weight of the objects you will be moving, the size and shape of the objects, and the terrain you will be using the hand truck or dolly on.

Always make sure the hand truck or dolly is properly balanced before moving it. Never overload the hand truck or dolly, and always use a slow, steady pace when moving heavy objects.
