Description
The Honeywell Snap Acting/Limit Switch, part of the MICRO SWITCH BX/BX2 Series, is suitable for installation in environments classified as hazardous locations, per applicable specifications. The switch housing features a flame path within the housing intended to direct and dissipate gases generated during normal operation; constructed according to relevant standards for hazardous location equipment. Both BX (aluminum housing) and BX2 (316L stainless steel housing) models are available, with the stainless steel version constructed of 316L stainless steel, which provides increased material resistance compared to aluminum under specified conditions.
