Kickplates are metal plates that are installed at the base of doors to protect them from damage caused by foot traffic and impacts. They are typically made of stainless steel, aluminum, or brass and can be finished in a variety of colors or textures to match the surrounding decor.

Kickplates can be used in a wide variety of commercial and residential settings, including schools, hospitals, offices, retail stores, and homes. They are particularly beneficial in high-traffic areas or on doors that are frequently opened and closed.

Kickplates offer a number of benefits, including protecting doors from damage, reducing maintenance needs, and improving the overall appearance of a building. They can also help to prevent the spread of dirt and germs, making them a valuable addition to any commercial or residential space.

Kickplates are typically installed using screws or adhesives. The specific installation method will depend on the type of kickplate and the material of the door. It is important to follow the manufacturer's instructions carefully to ensure a secure and long-lasting installation.
