Like all hazardous location motors, kiln motors are designed to perform in harsh operating conditions. Kiln motors power fans that circulate heat in enclosed spaces such as the dry kilns used to quickly dry lumber and in other high-heat drying applications. Kiln motors tolerate high ambient temperatures and the gasses released in the drying process.
