About Lab Dippers & Ladles
Dippers are a type of laboratory ladle used to scoop samples of liquid, usually for testing. They are often used alongside other standard lab equipment such as mixer accessories and beakers. Sampling ladles take various forms, such as small dipping buckets, or small pitchers with pour spouts. Some lab ladles feature graduated marks that reflect volume amounts, as well as long handles, telescopic handles, swivels, and other special attributes. Dippers are made of either metal or plastic, but stainless steel sample dippers are preferred where applications require instruments that are corrosion resistant or can be sterilized.
