Louvers are the slats in the slatted windows that allow air to pass between rooms or between a room or storage area and the outside. Louvers also protect against rain and other issues related to weather. Louvers can be fixed, or can be fitted to open and close, serving as a damper. Some louvers are designed to be drainable, allowing water to flow down their length into a channel system that prevents water from entering intake and exhaust openings. A louver mount is hardware that attaches the louver to the louver frame.
