MIG welding wire is consumable (i.e., meltable) wire fed through the MIG welding gun to supply the molten metal to form the weld pool. It is essential to the GMAW welding process. Westward welding wire is spooled and made of low alloy steel. Our selections of MIG wire vary by tensile strength, diameter, package quantity, weight and other considerations. For supplies for other types of welding, see our arc welding rods, TIG welding rods, and brazing alloys.
