About Output Line Reactors
Protect your motors with output line reactors. Spikes in electrical current and power line distortion from variable frequency drives (VFD’s) can cause electrical noise and harmonics. A line reactor for VFD increases impedance and therefore load inductance, thereby limiting the rate of rise (or spike) in the current and voltage, and reducing noise. Output line reactors protect the motor. To protect the VFD, use an input line reactor.
