About Paint Removers
Paint removers are used to strip and remove paints, varnishes, and other top-coat finishes from surfaces such as wood and metal. Paint removers can completely remove top coats while leaving the base surface clean and undamaged. Paint removers normally come in liquid or gel form, and are composed of various chemicals, paint solvents, and caustic. While these chemicals are not harmful to the base surface, they can be dangerous to humans. Therefore, when using these products make sure to handle them while wearing protective gear.
