The Magnetic Stirrer with integrated heating function is a compact and efficient device for mixing liquids in laboratories and technical areas. It is suitable for liquid volumes of up to 2 litres and allows the stirring speed to be set in the range of 300 ... 1,500 rpm. The temperature is regulated in two stages: Stage 1 regulates the stirring plate to a maximum of 40 deg. C / 104 deg. F, stage 2 to a maximum of 80 deg. C / 176 deg. F. The stirring plate is made of tempered glass and has a surface area of 115 x 115 mm / 4.5 x 4.5 in. The heated surface has a diameter of 80 mm / 3.1 in. The stirring rod supplied measures Ø 8 x 30 mm. The Magnetic Stirrer is powered by a brushless motor with an output of 15W. It is operated via an external power supply unit with 5V and 3A. The device has one stirring point and therefore offers a reliable solution for individual preparations. Thanks to its compact design and the use of robust materials, the Magnetic Stirrer can be used in a wide range of applications in chemical and biological laboratories, in education, in research and development facilities and in technical applications. It is particularly suitable for analytical work, reaction preparations or the uniform heating of solutions.
