The HX18 come in wire gauge sizes from 52 to 1, and are suitable for use in both machine and hand-held applications. The 135 degree split point is a great aid to self-centering and reduces the push force needed to drill into the workpiece. As a final touch, HX18 jobber drill bits have a dual steam oxide coat. This prevents workpiece material from sticking to the cutting edges of the drill to give you a cleaner, more accurate hole.
