This artificial rubber is made of a combination of ethylene propylene diene monomer (EPDM) and styrene butadiene rubber to inherit the strengths of both materials. The addition of elastomer SBR gives this synthetic rubber sheet a high level of physical durability and endurance for use in demanding applications. This sheet EPDM has a 60A durometer, meaning that it is fairly hard, but still retains reasonable flex and pliability. The sleek, black EPDM rubber is the perfect material to be used for commercial and industrial pads and bumpers, among many other possible applications. The key feature of this industrial EPDM is its outstanding range of resistance. This chemical-resistant EPDM also has a wide temperature range and performs well in temperatures from -40° F to 212° F, making it perfect for extreme industrial or outdoor temperatures. Our EPDM elastomers are available in eight different gauges ranging from 1/32” to 1/2" to fit the needs of any desired application. This 3/32" sheet rubber is one of the thinner options available and works great for detailed indoor and outdoor applications. This thin sheet rubber is also available in a variety of different sizes and can be cut down for even more possible applications, such as making synthetic rubber seals and gaskets.
