Our sheet neoprene is actually a powerful synthetic rubber compound made up of SBR and chloroprene rubber (CR) to inherit the strengths of both synthetic elastomers. This mix of synthetic rubber materials gives the rubber neoprene a moderate resistance to oils, chemicals, and many damaging effects of weather. The sleek black rubber sheeting has a smooth and solid consistency, adding a professional aesthetic to this highly resistant neoprene rubber.

High temperatures and industrial machinery are no match for this tough hard neoprene, which is available in 10 different gauges to ensure the proper fit for any application. This 1/2” neoprene is one of the thicker options available and works best in high-stress physical applications. Different applications may also require varying levels of neoprene durometer. This neoprene rubber has a durometer of 60 shore A, giving it a hard surface and a moderate amount of flexibility. The 60-durometer neoprene is stiff yet pliable, and works best in highly abrasive applications such as neoprene bumpers or pads. The thick rubber sheets can also be cut down and used to make neoprene seals, liners, and gaskets.
