Rust converters are used to prep rusty metal for painting or repainting. Also known as rust removers, these rust treatments can be applied to rusty surfaces to create a paintable surface and to stop further corrosion. Some rust removers are also used to treat tile, grout, tubs, toilets, sinks, dishwashers, counters, and other areas where rust or rust stains occur. For more on paint prep, see our selection of primers and sealers.
