Coatings are applied to the surface of a material to protect or enhance its properties. Additives are mixed into the material itself to improve its performance.

Specialty coatings are used when the standard coatings do not provide the desired performance. For example, a specialty coating may be used to resist corrosion, high temperatures, or chemicals.

The different types of specialty additives include adhesion promoters, anti-foaming agents, colorants, UV inhibitors, and fire retardants.

The best way to find the right specialty coating or additive for your project is to contact a technical expert. They can help you assess your needs and recommend the best product.
