About Welding Hose
The type of welding hose you use should be dependent on the type of welding gas you are using and the particular application. The welding hoses most suited to particular uses are reflected by the hose rating. Ratings and grades were determined jointly by the Industrial Gas Apparatus Committee of the Compressed Gas Association (CGA), and the Hose Technical Committee of the Rubber Manufacturers Association (RMA). The resultant RMA/CGA IP-7 standard classified hoses by grades and types based on application and, in some cases, type of gas used. Zoro carries welding hoses, hoses for plasma cutting systems, and leader welding leader hose that meets these standards. Products vary by hose length, inside diameter and other considerations.
