The tape is made with special high-tack adhesives formulated to resist corrosion of metal piping systems above and below ground, fittings and joints on mill-coated pipe, and electrical conduit systems. The pressure-sensitive rubber adhesive provides excellent tacking for a bond that lasts. This durable, black PVC tape is a conformable, 10 mil (0.254 mm) thick tape with electrical insulating properties.
