CRL 3M VHB Tape can replace mechanical fasteners such as rivets, spot welds, screws, and liquid adhesives. VHB Tape has successfully replaced all these and other fasteners in various manufacturing uses. It bonds to many substrates, and can be used for interior or exterior industrial applications. VHB Tape eliminates drilling for mechanical fasteners, and mixing of liquid adhesives. It applies neatly and easily, conforms to irregular surfaces, and allows concealment in use. Excellent resistance to ultraviolet light, solvents, moisture and plasticizer migration. Best adhesion is achieved when applied at temperatures above 70 degrees Fahrenheit 16 degrees Celsius with adequate initial hand or roller pressure. Also, when surfaces are cleaned with a solution of isopropyl alcohol and water.
