Description
This is a highly-versatile, fluorescence microscope with an infinity-corrected Plan optical system & LED Koehler illumination. The LED-based fluorescence epi-illuminator uses a modular design, requiring separate LED modules & filters for different light b&s. The included kit generates an excitation source in the blue b&, & the filter assembly allows for emissions in the green to red b&. Following Koehler illumination principles, the LED transmitted light-source provides even bright-field illumination with a field-diaphragm for precision control.
The quintuple nosepiece provides quick access to five objective lenses (4X,10X,20X,40X,100X). The Plan achromatic objectives provide excellent correction for both chromatic abberation & field geometry. with the 10X wide-field eyepieces, the magnification ranges from 40X to 1000X. The Siedentopf head-design allows for compensation-free interpupillary-adjustment.
