IN480 Series Inverted Infinity-Corrected Fluorescence Trinocular Compound Microscope 40X-1500X Magnification with Kohler Illumination and 1.2MP Back-illuminated CMOS USB 3.0 Camera. The IN480T-FL provides a gamut of tools needed by any laboratory performing live cell studies and genetic research. This highly versatile inverted epi-fluorescence microscope is equipped with a Koehler transmitted illumination system for brightfield and phase-contrast observation, and a wide-spectrum episcopic illuminator for fluorescence observation. Two filter blocks are provided for common fluorophores, and additional filters are available for expanded coverage. The large stage and swing-out condenser-holder can accommodate a range of specimen containers including slides, dishes and flasks. The Viewing Head The viewing head has a 45° incline and Siedentopf interpupillary adjustment for flexibility and comfort. Super-widefield optics provide a larger field-of-view so you can see more specimen at any magnification. For users with astigmatism or asymmetrical vision, the left ocular can be adjusted to fine-tune focus. The trinocular format provides a dedicated photo-port for mounting a microscopy camera for capturing photos or videos. A sliding shutter isolates the light path when using a camera, avoiding stray light from the oculars during fluorescence imaging. The 23mm photo port is height-adjustable to match focus with the eyepieces, and can be replaced with an optional CX series C-mount port which have built-in reduction, and can directly interface with C-mount cameras. OpticsThe infinity-corrected optical system eliminates optical errors and ensures highly precise images. The quintuple objective turret provides instant access to 5 magnification levels. This allows you to efficiently move through magnifications from 40X to 600X. Additional 25X eyepieces expand the maximum magnification to 1500X with 9 unique levels. These high-quality lenses are achromatically corrected to improve resolution and color accuracy, with planatic flat-field correction to provide edge-to-edge sharpness. The Stage The large stage can accommodate slides, multi-well plates, dishes, and short flasks thanks to a number of included stage templates.
