IN480 Series Inverted Infinity-Corrected Phase-Contrast Trinocular Compound Microscope 40X-1200X Magnification with Kohler Illumination and 2MP Back-illuminated CMOS USB 3.0 Camera. The IN480T provides high-resolution optics and a versatile inverted Koehler illumination system in a stable, ergonomic design for observing cell cultures and other biological and chemical specimens in brightfield and phase-contrast. The inverted form accommodates larger specimen containers, with multiple specimen templates and mechanical stage controls to improve workflow. High-resolution optics and phase-contrast capability maximize contrast and clarity to ensure high quality images. The advanced Koehler illumination system provides centering and aperture controls, as well as a swing-out condenser-holder to fully optimize the lighting for any scenario. The Viewing Head The viewing head has a 45° incline and Siedentopf interpupillary adjustment for flexibility and comfort. Super-widefield optics provide a larger field-of-view so you can see more specimen at any magnification. For users with astigmatism or asymmetrical vision, the left ocular can be adjusted to fine-tune focus. The trinocular format provides a dedicated photo-port for mounting a microscopy camera for capturing photos or videos. A sliding shutter isolates the light path when using a camera, avoiding stray light from the oculars during fluorescence imaging. The 23mm photo port is height-adjustable to match focus with the eyepieces, and can be replaced with an optional CX series C-mount port which have built-in reduction, and can directly interface with C-mount cameras. OpticsThe infinity-corrected optical system eliminates optical errors and ensures highly precise images. The quintuple objective turret provides instant access to 5 magnification levels. This allows you to efficiently move through magnifications from 40X to 600X. Additional 20X eyepieces expand the maximum magnification to 1200X with 8 unique levels. These high-quality lenses are achromatically corrected to improve resolution and color accuracy, with planatic flat-field correction to provide edge-to-edge sharpness.
