A 0.5X Barlow lens is included, which can be mounted to the objective housing to halve the magnification range to 3.5X-22.5X. This also increases the working distance. The combined magnification ranges provide 3.5X-45X. The microscope also features a switched trinocular photo port for attaching an imaging device without the need to replace one of the eyepieces. The photo port is especially useful for attaching a video-capable camera for a live video stream that can be projected on a television or monitor.
