The Armada Pro290 digital underground locator is an excellent tool for locating wires and cables for small, residential jobs. This locator is an excellent value for contractors working on residential sprinkler systems, landscape lighting, or electrical pet fences. The Pro290 transmitter produces a 33 kHz frequency, and the receiver wand can find wires up to 1,000 ft. from the transmitter, at depths up to 4 ft. underground. The whole kit comes in a compact carrying case, making it lightweight and easily portable.
