It's a material handling method that employs miniature ball bearings set into a surface, allowing objects to be placed on top and moved smoothly with minimal effort. This aids in optimizing processes, increasing productivity, and improving ergonomics.

It finds applications in various industries, including manufacturing, assembly lines, packaging, pharmaceutical, and food processing. It streamlines material flow, reduces manual handling, and facilitates efficient movement of items.

It offers numerous advantages such as reduced friction, smooth movement, increased speed, and precise positioning. It also enhances workplace safety by minimizing the risk of accidents and injuries associated with manual handling.

Factors to consider include load capacity, product size and shape, speed requirements, environmental conditions, and available space. Consulting with experts can help determine the optimal system based on specific needs and application requirements.
