Boomstrut - Silver/White for Boats 30-35', Boomstrut 44010 is designed for boats up to 6m 20ft in length with a maximum boom tip weight of 6.3kg 14 lbs. Working alongside the existing kicker or rope vang it creates upward lift on the boom to keep the desired sail shape even in light winds. Manufactured with white rods and Spectro Anodised boom and mast fittings. The uplift created means that the boom will not fall onto the boat when the sail is lowered or the topping lift is released or removed. Suitable to be used with wooden, carbon fiber, or aluminum spars.Six sizes to suit yachts up to 12m/40ft LOAPatented flexing spring provides fast response and a constant force for vang efficiency. The boomstrut’s lightweight, low-profile design features two flexible coated fibreglass rods which provide the force to support the boom.
