Stanchion Ratchet BlockControlling the Power in Furling lines! This Stanchion Ratchet Block is ideal for removing some of the loadings for the crew when furling in the jib. The ratchet means that the sheave can be locked in place in one direction offering a friction brake against the pull of the sail. It is quick and simple to fit onto a standard 25mm 1'' guard rail stanchion. Adjustment is easy with the stainless steel clamping ring which allows mounting of the block at any angle.The Barton ball-bearing Ratchet Block is designed to be used online up to 10mm 3/8''. The block is a high-performance 55mm 2 3/16'' ratchet block and features a stainless-steel lever that locks the swivel head if desired.Designed with ball bearings for low friction and longevity in harsh marine environments, the Ratchet Block body is manufactured from a composite of high-density nylon and glass fiber reinforced polymer with a high level of UV protection.
