Peracetic acid is another sanitizing agent primarily used in some segments of the food industry, such as organic produce and poultry. Instructions: Remove one test strip from the vial, being careful not to touch the test pad with your fingers. Gently swirl test strip in small sample of solution being tested for 2 seconds. Remove strip with pad face up. Do not shake off excess sample. Compare the test pad to the color chart after 10 seconds.
