Parafilm M is a semi-transparent, flexible, thermoplastic film that provides a waterproof barrier for covering laboratory vessels. It is gas permeable with low water permeability. Ideal for use in Microbiology and Cell Culture applications as it does not affect oxygen or carbon dioxide permeability. Nontoxic material is resistant to acids, alkalis, alcohols and organic solvents.
