Description
Innovative Cryo-Cup Grinder pulverizes animal and plant tissue samples at liquid nitrogen temperatures. Consists of a stainless steel mortar imbedded in a double insulated polypropylene cup and two non-heat conductive pestles. To use, simply pre-chill the mortar with liquid nitrogen. Frozen tissue from 100 mg up to five grams can be quickly ground to a fine powder. Stainless steel mortar allows strict temperature control and can be easily removed for cleaning. Cup and pestles can be autoclaved. Supplied complete with stainless steel mortar, insulated cup and two different size polypropylene pestle balls (35mm, 48mm).
