Ceramic Fiber Rope, Round Braided, Medium Density, 1 in Dia., 25 ft Length. Temperature rating 1,800°F (982°C) continuous; 2,300°F (1,260°C) maximum. Lightweight, compressible and resilient, high temperature stability, low thermal conductivity, thermal shock resistant, fire and flame proof, chemical resistant, pH range 2-12, compatible with most corrosive chemicals and commonly used acids and alkilis (exceptions are hydrofluoric and phosphoric acids and concentrated alkalis), high tensile strength, no stretch or shrink, high dielectric strength. Used for expansion joint packing, metal casting seals, seals or gaskets for boilers, furnaces, ovens, dryers, processing tanks, kettles, etc.
