Ceramic Fiber Tape, Plain, 1/16 in Thick, 2 in Width, 100 ft Length. Temperature rating 1,800°F (982°C) continuous; 2,300°F (1,260°C) maximum. Lightweight, high temperature stability, low thermal conductivity, thermal shock resistant, fire and flame proof, chemical resistant, pH range 2-12, compatible with most corrosive chemicals and commonly used acids and alkilis (exceptions are hydrofluoric and phosphoric acids and concentrated alkalis), high tensile strength, no stretch or shrink, high dielectric strength. Used for safety and protective insulation covers, strip curtains, door seals, insulation wrapping material for cable, wire, pipe, exhaust systems, etc., seals or gaskets in other high temperature applications.
